About the Role
This role is for the Logistic segment of our business. The individual leads business development activities, per the company's business direction, to increase the company's market share and sales revenue.
Identify target customers, analyse their business needs and appropriately recommend our services to meet their needs.
Work with external customers and internal department heads to establish the scope of work, basic workflow and manpower plan during the proposal stage to meet customers' requirements and needs.
Responsible for price quotation submissions and negotiation with customers.
To see through the implementation of the proposal and plan upon successful negotiation.
Responsible for periodic business reviews (including payment collection) with customers about the existing business and exploring new areas of opportunities.
Guide his/her working team to meet customers and job requirements.
Maintain strong working relationships with customers.
Collate and analyse market trends and competitors' activities.
Diploma or higher Tertiary Qualification
5-8 years of working experience in the logistics industry
Pleasant and have good communication skills
Possess a good command of written English and can communicate in English and Mandarin (preferred)
Able to withstand work pressures and work long hours when required
Able to travel for business when required
Familiar with Microsoft Office tools (i.e., MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
