About the Role
The individual is responsible for developing the Group's quality strategy, policies, processes, standards and systems for its supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering, or Diploma in Quality Management
At least 8 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment. An added advantage for those with experience in the logistics industry as well as knowledge of Secure Trade Partnership and TAPA.
Good Knowledge of ISO Quality/Environment/Health and Safety/Security Management Systems.
Self-driven and achievement-oriented, with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Requirements
Develop and facilitate the implementation of quality, environmental, health and safety systems, business continuation, good manufacturing and security-related practices for Teckwah Singapore and its subsidiaries overseas.
Provide expert advice and assistance to SBUs regarding the implementation of and compliance with the above-mentioned practices.
Develop and sustain the Group’s Quality Management System in line with the required industry standards (including ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001/ ISO 22301/ ISO 28000/ TAPA/ STP-Plus, FSC CoC) accreditation requirements and business requirements across the organisation through existing and new procedures.
Manage the audit program to ensure that all nonconformities raised against certification bodies during audits are effectively corrected and independently verified.
Embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the company, leading the team to achieve quality management system targets for customers and business goals.
Serve as the management representative in supporting and facilitating the Management Review.
Ensure that ongoing trainings on system implementation and practices are provided to SBUs.
Monitor results against goals and feedback to SBUs on the gap(s) identified. Follow-up with SBUs to ensure corrective action(s) are in place to close the gap(s).
Lead in facilitating business process improvement activities.
Manage the Asset Protection programs that protect the safety of staffs/visitors and to safeguard the company’s assets (physical/intellectual property belonging to the company or under the care/custody of the company).
Develop quality & security-related management communications for the Group.
Plan and manage the operational and finances of quality management and security-related activities.
Support and execute projects and any other quality or security-related activities as directed by the supervisor.
