About the Role
To support the Program Manager in strengthening existing customer relationships and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, which include New Product Introduction (NPI), Order Administration, BOM Management and Planning.
Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationship with customers by identifying and assessing customers’ current and future needs
Timely fulfilment of customers’ orders or communication of schedule revision
Liaise with internal departments to ensure orders will be fulfilled on time
Respond to all customers’ inquiries promptly
Prepare and provide reports and proposals to customers as required
Support customers’ audits and visits when necessary
New Product Release
Responsible for ECN (Engineering Change) and new BOM (Bill of Material) management, which includes item master creations
Ensure that all ECNs and BOMs are cross checked before releasing it and any ad hoc amendment to the BOM through internal ECN or waiver
Manage FAA (First Article Approval) submission and approval
Define Production Routing Guide for manufacturing
Ensure packing handling units (carton & palletization) are defined accordingly
Maintain customer part numbers in ERP system
Manage EOL (End of Life) of products
Handles new customer requirement that involves ERP system update and UAT
Work together with manufacturing engineer & production to define the relevant process or packing instruction
Maintain the relevant documents pertaining to BOM management, which includes work instruction, sticker placement
Interface customer with respect to NPR, ECN, and FCS launch management
Prepare samples for customer review/approval
Prepare and participate in customer audit on new SKUs or artwork
Create BOM structure for all new product release from sketch and maintain item, BOM, ECN and void in customer's SAP as per customer requirements
Report and Masterlist Tracking
Ensure FAA Tracking List and BOM masterlist are well maintained
Prepare launch tracking report
Prepare QBR data on relevant sections
Prepare weekly/ monthly reports as requested by customers and management
Order Processing
Acknowledge and process sales orders, coordinate with various departments and related parties to fulfil order
Prepares samples, price estimates and quotations within customer’s expectations and timeframe
Creates work orders for production and replacement work orders if necessary
Ensure prompt billing of invoices and assist in overdue payment collection
Manage customer’s product content effectively
Material Planning
Plan and make purchase requisition for necessary materials to ensure materials availability in meeting production needs while minimizing inventory holding/costs
Manages inventory level for raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods
Analyse order trends and prepare forecast schedule to material planner
Productivity and Innovation
Identify potential improvement initiatives
Implement feasible improvement initiatives to enhance effectiveness, efficiency and/or economy
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or other relevant fields
1-2 years of experience in operations/supply chain environment (Program Administrator)
3-5 years of experience in operations/supply chain environment (Senior Program Administrator)
Good command of English; able to speak and write confidently
Able to communicate fluently in Mandarin
Strong interpersonal skills with good presentation and communication abilities
Independent and proactive, with strong customer service orientation
Experience in printing and packaging industry will be an added advantage
Knowledge in MRP and SAP systems will be added advantage
