About the Role
The candidate works to optimise warehousing and logistics operations, ensuring that warehousing operations and inventories are properly managed.
Responsibilities
Lead, supervise and manage a team — work closely with the management team to optimise warehousing and logistics operations.
Ensure that all inventories are properly managed and that the delivery of logistics services meets customers’ KPIs.
Conduct operational reviews with internal and external customers to resolve logistics service failures directly with customers and the operational team.
Perform operations review for WMS systems, daily operations and environment for further productivity and safety practices.
Ensure warehousing operations adhere to SOP and safe practices.
Maintain optimum utilisation of warehouse space.
Maintain a high level of housekeeping and warehouse security.
Assist or be involved in ad-hoc activities assigned.
Requirements
At least 3 years of working experience in 3PL/4PL Warehousing/Logistics environment
Good command of written and spoken English
Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
Good problem-solving, interpersonal skills and leadership qualities
Good organisational and time-management skill
Experience with high volume & fast-moving sea cargo/containers environment preferred
Forklift license holder preferred
